Bunny Collages
We’re already planning for Easter, as it’s right around the corner! This year we are doing our Easter themed The Wilds pop-up classes right before spring break, so it’s really the last project for us and our crew until April. Thankfully it feels like we will soon be into warmer weather here in Pittsburgh. Now, lets gather all of our materials and make some really fun cardboard bunny collages!

Pom Poms
Pony Beads
Paint Sticks

Directions
First: Use a small bowl to trace a circle on the cardboard and cut out with scissor. Then you can freehand draw out to ears. For older kids, you can let them glue these pieces together. For my littles, I’m going to pre-assemble with liquid glue or hot glue gut the ears and head.
**The cardboard sheets are a little easier to cut than boxes you get in the mail. But those work great too!Next: Color the cardboard with the tempera paint sticks! I used white all over first in the mock-up, then added some pink, yellow and blue. I honestly can’t wait to see what the kids do and will post some pics of their final projects here.
Ready to decorate! Collect your decorative materials. I used circle confetti, glitter tape and some sequins + a pom pom for the nose. But you can really use what you have! A glue stick worked fine here!
For the whiskers. I poked a hole through the cardboard with a pen, and put the pipecleaner through. I used 1 one each side, tri-folded and just taped in the back. I’m going to give the kids some pony beads to add on if they want.
Ready to hang up for some Easter fun!
